top passive income books – by Diksha yadav
Passive! It means indirect or something in which you are not actively involved.
Are you also the one who is tired of 9-5 corporate job?
Do you question yourself why you are not your own boss?
If yes, then passive income is a great option for you. It means the income which is earned by doing some extra activities, without paying much attention, time and efforts.
You are putting your 100% in your corporate job, the benefit of which is obviously deriving to your boss. Then why not you should earn the income which is solely going to benefit yourself.
But before starting your passive income business, it is necessary to gain some knowledge. Isn’t it?
Now-a-days, knowledge is available everywhere and especially on internet, but on internet there are billions of answers to your one question. How will you find that particular answer is correct or not?
Hence, here comes out that only a BOOK can help you to survive and escape from all different opinions and at last you have to take your own opinion for yourself. After all, a book is a best friend of a human.
“You can’t beat, can’t be taxed and not even inflation can take away from you. Ultimately, there’s one investment that supersedes all others: Invest in yourself”-WARREN BUFFET
Investing in book is ultimately an investment in yourself.
But now again the question comes that which book will be best for you?
So, here are the five PASSIVE INCOME BOOKS, among which you can choose which one would suit you and start your journey-
Because price is what you paid and value is what you get.
1.The 4-Hour Workweek- Tim Ferriss
This book is all about how to escape from 9-5 job and achieve all your dreams which you find expensive but actually they are not.
Ferriss divides his book in 4 sections namely “DEAL”.
-D for DEFINITION – This section is all about to answer your questions of WHAT. What you can do to achieve your dreams? What do you actually want? What to do to live like your dream life? By going through this part you will surely get to know what do you want.
-E for ELIMINATION- It talks about how to manage your time effectively and efficiently. This is the best part of this book. Because for generating passive income it is very necessary to manage your crucial time by avoiding some unnecessary tasks. It talks about so many things including the art of refusal which is I think important to know.
-A for AUTOMATION-. It teaches to manage our time by outsourcing and elimination and also talks about 80/20 principle. It tells that one work should not take as much time as we think. For example, you are creating a blog or a website and publish your content on so many platforms so that you can get a higher response, then you are just putting unnecessary extra efforts. The main thing is that just find a place where you have a strong niche, dominate and increase it.
-L for LIBERATION- This section concludes all the above three points and motivates you to do something out of the box. Also, if you are going with majority then you should have to think twice. It also deals with how to avoid your current hectic job and start your own business.
2. The $100 Startup- Chris Guillebeau
This book speaks to reinvent the way to make a living, do what you love and create a new future. Chris shows challenges of small business entrepreneurs and creating a framework for finding success in today’s economy. He interviews and surveyed hundreds of startups.
He firstly focuses on the game which has been changed now. The technology makes it easy to launch an independent business with your skills. Focus on your passions along with what others care about.
Passion+ skill+ demand= success
Secondly, he talks about the product creation. You have to be unique in your own way. Disassociate your limiting beliefs about age and other things and start following your passion, values, beliefs, interests.
Lastly, launch your business. Start early so that you can fail early and get to know about your weaknesses before it becomes too late to evade it and it will also get high probability for success.
3.The six figure second income- David lindahl and Jonathen Rozek
This book is a great guide on how you can make money through web. It mainly focuses on earning through information based products.
It also eliminates the myths and excuses of people like I can’t do it, I don’t have time, I will not be successful, because market wants content and not bothered about your excuses.
Its writing style is very attractive as when you go through it you will feel like you are talking to you friend. Mostly people think that this book is a scam by reading its title but actually it isn’t.
David Lindahl and Jonathan Rozek start the book by dismissing some of the usual misconceptions (or false barriers) about starting your own business, then explain what your first product should be like and how you can research and create it, and finally, focus on the online part: creating a good website to host your product, establishing an online payment method, etc.

Because majorly people have value content but they don’t have strong niche that’s why they lack. So before starting your passive income business you must read this book to get an insight of your niche.
5. Click Millionaires- Scott Fox
This book is all about doing business by starting slowly and part time. It doesn’t teach, “how to”, instead it focuses on what you can do for your online business.
It has realistic examples that proves one thing- you should not comprise in a business in which you are not interested. Always do a business in which you have passion and skill along with your interest.
The whole point of this book is to creating something in which you would be your own boss – that way you have complete control over your life, including what you do during the day, your compensation and benefits, etc.
Deciding on a passive income idea is thus thankfully the focus of a couple chapters and worth getting the book.
At last, it doesn’t matter how the old book is, what matter is what you are taking out of a particular book and implementing in your business. Passive income is not easy at all. You can’t just wave a magic wand and get your passive income, you have to put in some massive work to get some result. You have to make right decisions otherwise it will not be fruitful.
